Anon

Dr. Kingsley used to joke, in his own inimitable way, that if you were ever doing Shakespeare and forgot your line, you could get away with saying: "There will be more of this anon."
One time, jamming with my cover band, Fish Relics www.myspace.com/fishrelics as we were about to take a band break, I actually said "There will be more Fish Relics anon."

Brian Jr. is playing his tenor sax in the orchestra in a community theater production of "Hello, Dolly!" that's now running. Ecch, I forgot how hellish tech week was for musicals!!! A five-hour tech rehearsal on a Sunday was followed by 7-10 p.m. on three consecutive school nights. It's a miracle he didn't fall asleep on the bus going to school.

I don't know what's gotten into me in my old age. I find myself feeling great disdain toward the lead actors in this show. People, why the primadonna standoffish act? It's friggin' community theater! Get a grip!!
