Oklahoma just doesn't have as much of the beautiful fall folliage that I remember from Pennsylvania.Lynn Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13824121023266682670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-768654319164461086.post-44264200101424848832009-10-14T11:48:32.077-07:002009-10-14T11:48:32.077-07:00Fall for us is about lots of hiking in the woods, ...Fall for us is about lots of hiking in the woods, pumpkin carving, decorating, making Vera's costume (Hippie-Vampire this year), usually a big Halloween party, but this year we've decided to take a year off. With Stuart's big 50th celebration (i'm still younger!), the new puppy (cute, sweet Kiko), and the overseas trip earlier in the year, we just needed a break from planning. So this year we'll do a Haunted Pittsburgh tour or a Haunted Cemetery tour to celebrate.Scott Mchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11996393014458088029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-768654319164461086.post-29116857550534047692009-10-12T19:16:07.165-07:002009-10-12T19:16:07.165-07:00Hey Lisa. For the first ten or fifteen years out of school (crap we're old) the smell of Fall always made me think of Ship and being back at school. Being up in the mountains at the Wall or outside at a Phi Sig party. Or maybe a night of "killer charades" or "one red hen" at Georgia's house. It is amazing how vivid a picture I have in mind of how her living room was set up and the night Scott was trying to help me figure out the "I'm going on a picnic and taking..." game. Well let me stop before I am up all night.Son of Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02981689428314887104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-768654319164461086.post-16914558007131222762009-10-12T18:36:01.704-07:002009-10-12T18:36:01.704-07:00I've always thought of fall as the time when t...I've always thought of fall as the time when the year starts over. Who wants a new year in January when it's cold and blah. I have vivid memories of walking onto campus from the Bietsch House, crunchy leaf smell crisp on the wind.LisaBBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00729673750443675299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-768654319164461086.post-39312119501512359032009-10-10T20:43:37.268-07:002009-10-10T20:43:37.268-07:00Those are such great thoughts about fall. Ahhhh.<br />J-Happy Anniversary! So funny how you both put sports in there. Football (via band) is becoming a part of my life, as well. You know Howie, my dad, and Lisa's hubby, Tom are HUGE PSU fans, too. Thanks for posting- it's a dirty job....Constancehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05889098810375390509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-768654319164461086.post-80268406898895262812009-10-09T10:03:42.471-07:002009-10-09T10:03:42.471-07:00Fall may be my family's favorite season. Halloween is a hugh favorite (we are going to be Ariel) and our annual trek to Weaver's Farm for their Fall Festival is always a ball (October 24th this year). Thanksgiving, family visits and getting ready for Christmas are also top on the list. And let's not forget baseball playoffs (Go Phillies) and Chargers Football. Have a great Fall everyone.Son of Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02981689428314887104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-768654319164461086.post-19658297101158295822009-10-08T11:09:31.731-07:002009-10-08T11:09:31.731-07:00Going to Blue Hills Apple Orchard and making pie. ...Going to Blue Hills Apple Orchard and making pie.
